Visiting the Isle of Skye provides an excellent opportunity to observe rare wildlife. On the shores of Loch Harport, directly below Trien Cottage, a family of otters can regularly be seen -

As well as being able to spot Golden Eagles and other birds of prey, a pair of White Tailed Sea Eagles have also nested on the side of Loch Harport regularly over the last few years.

There are numerous other bird species that can be seen, as well as a wide variety of flora.
